Can I use a gift card?At this time our online system cannot process our store-issued gift cards. However, if you call a store to make a purchase, they can enter your gift card number at checkout.

Online and phone return policy?
While we hope that you will love every item you order, we understand that sometimes that adorable dress you've been waiting for unfortunately just doesn't fit quite right.
Our customers are our top priority, and we want to make sure you're pleased with your purchase! If for some reason your Purpose item doesn't work out, please email us at shop@purposeboutique.com to let us know. We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of shipment for refund. You can also exchange the item within 30 days of receipt! Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, your item must be unaltered, unworn, and unwashed, with tags attached. If your item has been altered or is missing parts, we unfortunately will not be able to issue a refund or exchange. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once approved, a refund will automatically be applied.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven't received a refund yet (for wrong or defected orders), please first check your bank account. Then, contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, please contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shop@purposeboutique.com.
Exchanges
We will exchange any item for a different size if it meets the criteria for a returned item listed above within 30 days of receipt. Additionally, we will replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@purposeboutique.com and send your item to:

Gift Returns
If the gift giver returns the item in-store within 14 days of receipt, they will receive a refund.
If the item was a gift when purchased and shipped or given directly to you, you'll receive a credit or gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be mailed to you (if applicable)

Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy so your information is safe with us (we won't sell you out to a third party). You may opt out of any mailing or communication at any time. For email lists click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom. For text messages text the word STOP to opt out.
In-Store return policy
For in-store purchases, we offer refunds within 14 days with receipt or exchanges within 30 days with receipt. All purchases of sale items are final. Your item must be unaltered, showing no signs of wear, and unwashed with tags attached.
Online orders
We accept returns for refund within 14 days (post-marked) with receipt or within 30 days for exchange. Please contact shop@purposeboutique.com to request your return. Remember, you can always contact a Purpose stylist for any questions you may have about any online items that catch your eye.
I was just notified that an item I purchased online is sold out. How does this happen?
While we try to update our inventory as soon as we are notified of a purchase or error, we fulfill online orders from all 3 of our retail stores and our Warehouse. Our online shop takes several minutes to update, and sometimes a customer purchases the item in-store before the online system can update the quantity. We understand this is a huge inconvenience and our team will reach out as quickly as possible to refund your item.
How it's Made
We do not carry brands that are known to have unethical practices. We highlight brands that we partner with that are fair trade or committed to holistic empowerment (like our Purpose line!). Also, at least 10% of net profits are donated to heal survivors of sex trafficking and others in need of hope.
