Responsibilities

• Transporting inventory from our warehouse in Silverdale, WA to our stores in the surrounding area. 
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report to Warehouse Manager as needed.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Retain and submit fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with Washington state driving rules as well as with company policies and procedures
• Collect and verify delivery instructions from Warehouse Manager
• Rough knowledge of store’s backspace organization
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Maintain van clean and clear of floor debris and obstacles as well in a clean condition.

Requirements

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations
• A review of any recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid Washington state driver's license
